We’re here to inspire others to have the best time ever, with the best people, in this awesome world that we are lucky enough to call home.
Whilst adding a cheeky touch of colour every step of the way.
Because we don’t believe in taking life too seriously. It’s just more fun that way.
Jump in that lake. Run through those wheat fields. Go on that date. Take a holiday. Apply for your dream job. Hold that yoga pose. Eat the last chocolate. Climb a mountain. Be that person.
Take that risk.
Dock & Bay was founded by two intrepid travellers who were driven by the simple facts that they wanted to take a risk, be themselves and enjoy their lives to the fullest, whilst having a big smile on their face along the way. Something they strongly believe in and are keen to spread to the masses through their bright and colourful brand.
Launched in August 2015, Dock & Bay has grown up fast (something the founders never did). And the best is yet to come as we continue to push to become bigger and better than ever before. Continually coming up with innovative, high quality, affordable and convenient products that our customers can’t seem to get enough of - thanks by the way.
We won’t rest until everyone on this planet has dried themselves silly with one of our unique towels.
The Sunday Times - One's To Watch
We're pretty chuffed to have been chosen as one of The Sunday Times Fast Track Ones To Watch 2019. Since 2015 we've been working hard to make the world a little brighter, one stripe at a time. Our towels have changed the game and it's nice to be recognised as a brand that's going places and doing good, Read on for more on that...
DOING OUR BITWe all share this unique planet together. In a world of fast fashion and mass consumption, Dock & Bay are striving to make those small changes towards a more sustainable future. Learn more about what we are doing to keep David Attenborough happy.
Having spent my last 10 years searching, travelling to every corner of the globe (60 countries), I’ve finally settled back down in Bondi, Sydney, the home of Dock & Bay’s Australian branch. The move back from London wasn’t to get away from Andy, I promise.
I consider myself extremely lucky to have seen so much of the world and am hugely passionate about our environment and making a difference to other people’s lives wherever I can. Dock & Bay has allowed me to create a life that puts me entirely in the driving seat and keeps me motivated, always striving to take our brand to the next level.
With my love of hiking, camping, beach times and eating (+ drinking), Dock & Bay couldn’t be more of a perfect fit. We make sure that we have fun with it every day and will always be the first to play down what we have achieved, but of course we are very proud.
I’m really excited for what’s next for the brand and it still amazes me to hear stories of our towels being spotted in far corners of the earth - from beautiful beaches to mountain villages. If you ever need some tips for your next trip, feel free to get in touch through [email protected]
What a crazy journey this has been already but I’ve loved every minute. I can’t believe how far we’ve come since we kicked this off in 2015 and I’m still convinced my Mum is the one buying all our products and that we have a family loft at home close to collapse. My friends and family have been a huge part of making Dock & Bay work and for that I’ll always be thankful.
My short attention span, love of travel, risk taking nature and passion for putting a smile on people’s faces seems to have been a good combination for the brand so far. As we both put it all on the line every day for something we truly believe in. You heard it here first, but there are some really exciting things on the horizon. Don’t worry, you’ll know soon as I’m terrible at keeping secrets.
Doing it with someone I genuinely consider as one of my best mates makes it all the more worthwhile. And if you’re reading this as a fresh start up, trying to get ahead, please get in touch to andy @ dockandbay.com as I’d love to help with some of the secrets to our success so far.
